Monday to Friday, the MSHC offers a Men’s and Women’s Clinic with services provided by advanced sexual health nurses. Please see Opening hours for information on clinic opening times. We recommend that you call our Results and Information line prior to your first visit to discuss the reasons for your visit with one of our nurses.

The sexual health nurses and doctors provide MEN with:

• Testing and treatment for sexually transmissible infections (STIs)
• Blood testing for STIs
• Test results
• Treatment if required
• Vaccinations for Hepatitis A, B (where indicated)
• Brief counselling for any concerns about sexual health, STIs, sexual relationships etc.

The sexual health nurses and doctors provide WOMEN with:

• Testing and treatment for sexually transmissible infections (STIs)
• Pap smears (provided only in conjunction with a full STI screen)
• Blood testing for STIs
• Test results
• Treatment if required
• Vaccinations for Hepatitis A, B (where indicated)
• Basic contraceptive advice
• Emergency contraception (morning after pill)
• Brief counselling for any concerns about sexual health, STIs, sexual relationships etc.
