
GP REGISTRARS
Opportunity to gain experience and training in sexual health - diagnosis and management of sexually transmitted infections - at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre.
There will be two full time GP Registrar in Sexual Health positions in 2013, these positions will be for 6 months each (therefore, 4 Registrars over the 12 months). Six month rotations available are: 4/2/13 - 4/8/13 and 5/8/13 - 2/2/14.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
GP Registrar in Sexual Health
Essential:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Excellent communication skills with clients and clinicians
- Ability to discuss sensitive issues with clients from diverse backgrounds
Desirable:
- Demonstrable interest in sexual health
- Currently training in the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner training program or intention to work in general practice

All referees must be at consultant level. Registrars will not be accepted.
