PACT

Partner cohort treatment study for bacterial vaginosis

We are looking for couples* in the LGBTQIA+ community.

One in two people with BV get it again within 6 months of treatment. Through our Step Up trial we have shown this is likely due to reinfection with BV-bacteria from an untreated regular sexual partner, and that partner treatment drastically improves BV cure. The PACT study aims to determine if treating both the person with BV and their regular sexual partner improves BV cure for LGBTQIA+ couples.

*Couples must be monogamous for the duration of the study
